Meet the Author

Joel Shepherd lives in Adelaide, South Australia. He's always been interested in lots of stuff, and his chosen means of expressing that interest has been through science fiction and fantasy novels, of which he has published 18. Lately, that means of expression has expanded to podcasts. Joel studied International Relations at Flinders University long enough to take up a PhD that he never completed (because writing fiction is more fun and pays better). He cycles, is in the Country Fire Service, is lately learning Japanese, and would like to play the drums more if he could get a better home arrangement that would allow it.
